| Forging a Future Full of Hope The Southern Jesuit Campaign for Hope and Renewal |
The Jesuits of the New Orleans Province have completed a more than two-year planning process prayerfully to discern the will of the Spirit for our future. The result is this Forging a Future Full of Hope campaign, both an immediate and a long-term response to the call of Jesus Christ for the faithful.
With your ever faithful support, we will continue our vital and necessary mission, highlighted in the following five ways:
Lighting the Fire: Providing for Tomorrow's Servant Leaders.
To nurture vocations and educate young Jesuits so that we can continue to staff our many apostolates in order to share the promise of the Gospel. (Goal: $4 million)
Embracing the Gospel Light Throughout the Province.
To bring Christ's empowering message of love to society's downtrodden and ignored so that they may lift their sights toward a future of hope. (Goal: $4.8 million)
Reverencing the Past.
To care for the elder and infirm Jesuits so that those who have given so much to the Church may be treated and cared for with dignity. (Goal: $1.32 million)
Spreading the Light Across the Globe (the Fr. Eugene Hebert, S.J. International Mission Fund).
To ensure that our missionaries have all their needs taken care of in order to focus on the greater needs of their most important work. (Goal: $1 million)
Igniting Spiritual Growth in our Students and Lay Colleagues (the Coco, Condry & Cronin Fund).
To attend to the spiritual needs of Jesuits and our lay colleagues so that they, through the power of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, may spread Christ's love to all. (Goal: $2.18 million)
